Dolphins blew it with passing on Herbert

This stuff is starting to be hilarious. The same Herbert who threw a game killing pick to Howard against us?

The same one who's own WR was saying that they couldn't run plays because of him?

That one? The one who is 3-7 right now? Would you rather be 3-7 or 6-4 right now?
All of these conversations are pretty much ridiculous. I mean I get people are mad and upset. Hell I'm a little upset too. I don't watch any other sport except football and the dolphins are my favorite team and I've rooted for them hard since I was a kid.

I got caught up I'm the hype from the past 5 weeks and was pretty disappointed last night. Especially with tua. But it's way too early to say for sure if hes bust or not. That's what's ridiculous about all of this.

We have a better record because of a defense playing above their limits. But great answer.

Wow...one loss and you’re ready to abandon ship.
This is the first time all season you can say we got thoroughly outplayed. For a team this young with this many new faces that’s saying something that it didn’t happen until week 11. This is ridiculous.

not gonna argue that tuas play has been bad but its way too early to make this claim so matter-of-factly...herbert does look better at the moment but that really doeant mean anything in the long term, tua has 4 games under his belt...if at seasons end were still not sure if tua is our guy then were in trouble...i think the chargers already look at herbert as their guy tho so i cant really fault the OP for the thought on this

Herbert is 3-7 in large part to a defense that lost double digit leads in several of those losses. Not Herbert's fault.

Herbert has shown he can play at a high level. But he has extremely talented skill position players around him.

While I've always felt Herbert would be a better pro than he was in college, I need to see Herbert continue his rise. Once he does that, perhaps he'll finally be recognized as a great player, he seems to be developing into at the pro level.

Really? Explain why Herbert lost to us if he was clearly better?

According to some he should be able to overcome all of it.

Still doesn't explain the interception.

Too early to tell, but there's certainly reason to be concerned about Tua compared to Herbert which is just reality, just not finheaven reality with its QB "guru's" lol.

Tua's only responsible for 3 of those wins. I doubt we'd be 6-4 if Tua had started the whole season.

Dolphins made the right choice. Accuracy and not turning the ball over is key to winning. Yesterday was a tough game for more than Tua. The old Dolphins would have a hangover and lay an egg vs jets. lets hope the loss served as a good wake up call.

Defenses lose double digit leads when offenses stop scoring, and when the lead completely evaporates Herbert still has an opportunity to make a play and win the game. He hasn't. He didn't in college.

I'm not saying that he won't still turn out to be really good. I'm just saying that both QBs are struggling with different things and people are ignoring Herbert's issues by lazily chalking it up to the defense's fault.

Herbet is 2-7 and Tua is 3-1.

I would say Tua won that game in the end against the Cardinals with the game tying touchdown and then leading them into field goal range for the go ahead FG. Plus he had a crucial first down run that iced the game.

Herbert is a stat QB, but I haven't really seen him "win" all that much yet. He beat the Jaguars and Jets so far, yay! Plus last I checked Tua has started four games and thrown the ball almost 100 times and still hasn't thrown an interception, which is pretty darn impressive.

Tua did not play well yesterday and neither did the rest of the offense around him. But I still would take him over Herbert.
The voice of reason

And yes Herbert is a fantasy wonder esp against teams like the Jets

I know its early to access them but... you can do an eye test.

Herbert is a tall athletic strong armed playmaker. He looks like he belongs and can be a great QB than can win games and not just manage them.

Tua is a soft arm, small, non athletic accurate passer that was surrounded with talent at Alabama. He is a game manager/scheme QB at best.

As far as relievers not getting open, its half Tuas fault. He throws a softer ball which takes longer to get to the receiver. This results in DBs getting to the ball and everything is going to be contested.

I'm welcome to criticism, but please back it up with facts and not emotions.
When will you back up your post with facts and not emotions?
