Dolphins blew it with passing on Herbert

So in your mind the QB position preempts the team?

I can't agree with that. And I seriously doubt Flo would agree with your perspective.

Just seems to me there's a difference between "support" and some wort of weird obsession/devotion/idolatry.
Never said that he trumps or preempts the team. It is what it is, the QB is always the most glorified position on the field which is why they receive the most amount of love or hate and they’re always picked in top 10 of the draft. I’m a team guy I love the defense side a little more though, but QB is always the position everyone looks at.

I gave credit too parker's but he need help at wr. I really miss wr stills. That who we need help Tua out. Give tua some time. I didn't like how flores pull Tua from game.. I think that was bad decision. Win or lose stick w your qb.
Stills hardly plays in Houston. He’s always dinged up, not sure we really miss him much although compared to what we have, it’s tough to say we couldn’t use him.

did you used to go by FinFanBuffalo???
No but that’s a guy who is so married to his Tannehill take I think he only posts in the Tannehill thread in general NFL. That’s a prime example, an extreme one, of how important being right is to some posters when in reality being right on a silly fan message forum is pretty meaningless.

The record talk is funny to me.

While QBs play a huge role in most games, there's other factors as well. Trent Dilfer won a superbowl with the Ravens. Why? He knew his role, limited his mistakes and had a great defense to carry the Ravens to the SB/win.
Does Dilfer sniff a ring with the 2002 Dallas Cowboys? Hell no.

No one in the right mind compares Dilfer and his one ring to Marino.

At this point both are rookies. Both will make some mistakes. It's silly to write one off now and label one as legit this early into their careers.

Am I a bit concerned over Tua's bad games? Sure. Do I think he sucks and is a bust? Hell no. He has talent and it's up to him, the GM and the coaches to do their roles for improvement in his game.

Herbert has had a better start, and does have better weapons. He also has had some touch issues on passes.
Doesn't mean he will always have great stat games nor does it mean he can never work on his arm

Herbert does look good for now.. he has better wr. On his team.. dolphins must run offense that fits Tua.. I hate all of these short pass. Defense already know what dolphins going do. .if they dont go deep some time.

People don’t realize that that Chargers team was a playoff team the past few years 2017 record 9-7, 2018 record 12-4, last years 5-11 record was an anomaly.

LOL I could run circles around you about how Tua is better than Herbert in the NFL if I wanted to take the time to do so. So please, watch who you make those comments towards.
Golly. Someone thinks kind of highly of themselves!

Wow. Didn't realize we have "mister football wizard" among us!

>>> you were just being provocative, right?

You do understand that's YOUR TAKE, right?

And it's not written into some football cannon to worship the QB, right?
It’s isn’t just my take. It’s written in the NFL bylaws to always root for the QB.
Ps if Flores didn’t agree with me he would’ve taken a DE at the #5 spot instead of a QB.

Seriously knocking every other NFL player in defense of poor QB play is a tad weird.

Just admit Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and Captain Kangaroo are not REAL superheros!

But of course ---------- we ALL believe in Wonder Woman!

:p
Who’s not a real super-hero...

Just start insulting Mark Sanchez. If he can’t resist sticking up for him you may be onto something.
Mark Sanshez is actually a decent announcer type whatever.

Of course just like Tua, he didn't have any WRs, no OL, no TE, no playcalling, no YAC, no babes etc.
