Dolphins | Booker looks good in practice

Jeff Darlington, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins WR Marty Booker (leg) did not show any nagging effects from a leg injury in his return to practice Monday, Aug. 14. Booker appeared to run at full speed and showed the ability to make cuts on routes.

MR. Deep Threat!

I likes to hear that, for some reason I think Booker could put up similar numbers to CC this year, I think he will be a suprise.

booker's a stud. back to back 90+ catch season in an absolutely ANEMIC offense. much like chambers and mcmichael, i dont believe booker has ever played with a legit starting nfl qb

I doubt Booker's numbers will match Chambers, but I am hoping for significantly more than 39 (last year's total) catches for him. I think Booker will get close to 70 catches while Chambers will push the 100 mark.

booker may not have blazing speed but the man proved last year he can outrun defenses. booker is a much bigger assest imo then most give credit for. our recievers compliment each other very well with chambers, booker, and welker. all three give different styles of play and fill there roles very well. chambers and booker imo is much like smith and johnson in carolina.

The only thing about Booker that bothers me is his crying episode from last year. I will always wonder how much his heart is really in Miami. There were times last year he looked really dispondent. Like he could wait to run out of town. especially when things were tough for those few games.
i just want to see some fire out of him. I know he was a #1 guy up hin Chicago... so we'll see. especially when they meet Da Bears Nov. 5th.

Good news, can't wait to see what he can do now that he finally has a real QB throwing to him. Won't match CC but expect good numbers from him.

i agree. I think booker will be great this year, now that we have a balanced attack on offense he will be much more effective

You`d have to think he`s much happier going into this year, than he was when he first arrived. It had to be tough when he first got traded here knowing Ricky was retired and you had Feeley and Fiedler as your QBs. Things have turned 180 degrees since then.
