I never start threads on this board but I just had to make sure this was seen. The Palm Beach Post quotes Chris Colliingsworth (whom I like) as saying,

Cris Collinsworth, HBO: I think it's the best thing that ever happened to the Miami Dolphins, to tell you the truth. I watched their games. They're boring. Fans down there are used to seeing Dan Marino and Co.

I agree with this quote. I'm 37 and I must admit, other than the Buffalo game where we came back and CC went off, and the Colts playoff game where we ran for over 200+ yards...this team has been boring as hell for sometime now - and I do love the Dolphins. I hope our new coach can get some playmakers in Miami that would actually make me want to fly in for a game. Let's go Fins!

I agree. We've been following the Jimmy Johnson "blueprint" for about 10 years too long. Let's shake it up a little.

Yeah can't argue with that. Miami didn't make too many highlight reels this year.

I like this comment too...

...I hope it will lead to a ground swell of support for an OC to become our HC. And not just any offensive mind. One that knows how to entertain!

The culture of this team changed dramaticly. We went from a two decade coach, and one of the greatest QBs of all time to a team without an identity.

We don't have an identity. You could say, "well our defense is our identity," I disagree. It was when Surtain was still with us. We had Zach, Jason and Patrick. Now we have Zach, and a possible retiring Taylor.

That's what is lacking in many NFL teams, identity. That's why I fell for Saban's "We want everyteam to hate playing us" speech. I really thought he was going to re-establish our identity.

Collinsworth is right.

Now that you mention it, I was expecting the Dolphins' Game for a whole week, then on Sunday after 2 quarters I was just about ready for a nap..... For God's sake change Mularkey..... he blows sideways

Same here...Thought this for a long time but did not want to face the fact that even a 500 lap Nascar race held my attention longer. We need to open it up and get the ball down-field.

Collinsworth is a m0r0n. We weren't boring last year were we?

It's all about winning not being 'fun'. 98% of what Collinsworth says is empty noise...

Our problem this year wasn't that we were boring, our problem was that we played badly, were under coached and our team lacks enough talented players to consistantly compete and win.

If you are talking offense I agree but if you like defense our front seven was a joy to watch at times especially the play of Zach,Jason,Carter ,Holiday and some of the young guys like Roth and Crowder.

This is the first year where whenever there was an away game (season tix), I flipped around the other games like CRAZY.. even when we were in close games. I mean, this team was just BORING as ****!
