SAN DIEGO—The offensive line’s health has been a major factor in
the Dolphins’ resurgence, and that group is in question again after left tackle Branden Albert injured his left wrist.
Albert exited
today’s 31-24 win at San Diego with the wrist issue and returned with it in a hard cast. He got x-rays during the game that showed no fractures, but was scheduled for additional testing after the game. He described it as a dislocation.
“I looked at my wrist and I was like, ‘Something’s not right,’” Albert said. “So I went to the sideline, cut my tape off and then it was out of place. They were messing with it and trying to pop it back in place. And I took some X-rays and once they popped it back in place, I had to go back out there and finish the game.”
