Dolphins formally place Will Davis on injured reserve, bring back corner Jalil Brown, who spent training camp with the team.

Brown was doing some pretty good things in training camp before he suffered an injury. The injury derailed him and he was released. Big strong CB at 6'1" 207.

Agree. He was mentioned in the Davis IR thread. Probably one of the best options cosidering the timing etc. IMO.

In preseason, Brown only played in one game, 17 snaps vs TB, wit 1 tackle and 1 pass thrown at him incomplete. He is not listed on special teams. That's not much to like.

"Since leaving the Dolphins Browns signed with Indianapolis Colts in late September. He played in two games, mostly on special teams, but was released on November 4."

I think he can help on special teams…I will stick with my take.

For Indy, he is not listed as taking a snap on D, has a +1.0 on punt cover, a -1.0 on KO cover. 0 tackles, and 1 missed tackle. He may help and there is nothing else out there.

Good news - Jalil Brown provides some depth and don't forget about Walt Aiken. It's about time for him to be able to step up. Damn shame that Michael Thomas got injured the week before. He was set for some bigger responsibilities.

Hoping that Fnnegen is back for a vet vs Peyton. I think we'll be OK with him, Taylor, and a healthy Wilson. Have not seen enough of Aiken to have an opinion but, Thomas and Davis will be missed.

Aiken was moved to safety, but maybe could play in a pinch? Shame about Thomas- really was.

First Omar said he thought he would back, then said maybe not, this way he is right either way. :lol:

Think will be ok with what you mentioned above but if somebody gets dinged up and has to come off the field for a few plays etc look out- bullseye.

Omar is terrible.

Omar = Snake (lmao)
Our best chance next week is with Finnigan back.
Being shorthanded against Manning is not a great scenario.
We have certainly had our fair share of injuries.
Brown is a big body CB that can help in St's. I do not see him playing on defense unless we have another injury.
Drafting another quality corner should be a priority next year.

Predictable pick up, in a good way. He was decent in camp and knows the system and team. Seamless fit.
