The San Diego Chargers are one of only three teams to bring Louisville HB Michael Bush in for a personal visit...the Chargers are shopping around for Michael Turner's replacement despite the rumors that they intend to keep Turner for the upcoming season...the other two teams that brought Bush in for a visit were the Patriots and the Dolphins.

Very Interesting. This could change every mock draft around.

He would definately be worth moving up into the bottom of the 3rd round for, and an absolute steal in the 4th...

Have you seen the video of this guy working out? He's months away from being properly evaluated let alone being draftworthy. He's leg injury looks really bad and the bottom of his injured leg looks like a bone is sticking out.

Wow, he's really dropped because of the injury & 2nd surgery.

Looks like maybe he should have stayed for his senior year.

He's a monster running the ball. His stats dropped last season because of a broken leg in season opener, when at half time he totaled for 128 yrd and 3 TD in 17 att.
This has tagged him as injury-prone and leave him out of top pickers for several scouts. Also he's been questionable about the way of his conditioning, being described as non serious about it.
If we trade down to the end of second round or we can grab him with any later spot , he will allow us to deal with Ricky when reinstalled.

Somebody other then the dolphins medical staff evaluate his injury please.

i live in louisville and trust me we want micheal bush the guys a monster and well worth a gamble as high as the second round his injury happened in the season opeaner hes had over a year to recover so he schould be fine come tie for training camp. he never been accused of being lazy and having a poor work etthic in all his time as a cardinal

We don't need a RB, but if he's there in the 6th, take him.
:desk:

Michael bush is a player that has a tremendous risk to him. On NFL Live they were talking about him, they said he had to have two surgeries to repair his broken leg and they had to insert a titanium rod into his leg. They then said for a 260 lb running back that is alot of weight for a guy like him to exert on that leg considering all of the g-forces that he would generate running.
Then they said that it would be better to have an ACL injury occur to a player than to have a rod inserted into ones leg.

They also said most never come back to where they where. So if I were to take Bush it wouldn't be before the 6th or 7th round. Much like Miami did with Wright this past year. I would draft him and then put him on injured reserve for the year, then bring him back in 08 and see how he does.

I was at Louisville's spring game. He was walking without crutches and without a limp. The injury is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. As far as conditioning? The guy is just big, and he will always be big. You should see his dad, the guy's huge.
