Dolphins bring in Free Agents for tryouts

Funny how they keep insisting that despite Saban's flat denials. We'll see, I don't think the goal has changed and the goal has been to get Daunte healthy enough to play again this season.

Cody Pickett is the only one I would consider but he would be gone next season anyway

Who is that?

Former RB for the USF Bulls. I've attended a lot of Bulls game and the guy is extremely quick, creative in the open field, powerful for his frame (which is around 5'9" and 210 pounds) and has marvelous acceleration.

His weaknesses are he's not great with a playbook, he needs work on his pass protection, and he's never been much of a factor at USF in catching passes.

He went undrafted, signed on with the Bucs (which wasn't a good fit from an X's and O's perspective but he did it to be close to his sick mom), got cut, signed on with the Bears, got cut, and he's looking for a roster spot.

I'm not even quite sure where the quote came from. I assume rotoworld, but I can't find the reference there.

The sun-sentinel article doesn't mention Culpepper at all (unless they edited it after it was posted).

Can he return kicks?

I like Darius Watts, Im pretty sure the Broncos were pretty high on him at one point and he just never panned out

They bring in a few QB's....and Culpepper isn't going on the IR....Well I guess Lemon is getting cut...then. Sometimes you have to wonder.

I wouldnt put to much stock into it, I douby ANY of them get signed.

Now if someone gets signed then I start to wonder about Pep and IR

The fact that Saban is bringing in QB's....says more than....I don't put much stock into it....we already have three QB's on the roster....and Vick...as a emergency backup....unless we have a great need for more QB's....whats the sense of wasting time looking at them. I may be wrong...but it appears to me that Saban is saying more with his action that any words you may get out of him....time will tell.

He cant catch the ball, and you want him to return kicks.........great.

Nobody said he can't catch just that he doesn't have much experience doing so in the USF offense...and that is far different from kick returning.

He returned 19 kicks at USF for an 18.6 yard average, and returned 40 punts for a 10.7 yard average.

He brought in quarterbacks last year. I don't remember Sage getting cut.
