What a turnaround for the best team in the AFC East!...What we are seeing is a thourough example of "addition by subtraction"!...Subtracting a bunch of "clueless" management personnel and bring in the Tuna and his Dream Team was step #1, then removing a solid NFL Offensive Coordinator from our Head Coaching position is #2!

What did we gain?

Well, first of all, we gained "accountability" in the Free Agency market...That helps you in that you have a legitimate vision to sell to prospective players, people enjoy being part of something positive and potentially trend-setting. (Look what this site has become!)

Secondly, "respect" has been something that more and more people are becoming more and more comfortable showing us around the league. And the best part is how we got it,"One win at a time!".

I for one can personally say that it was worth every single loss last year for the opportunity to watch the "New England Faithful" leaving their "own" stadium in the beginning of the 3rd quarter! With NO answer for a offensive formation package that has taken the league by storm!

But most of all I have gained a sense of pride that I haven't felt in a long, long time. The games are finally mattering again and I can start to feel the buzz formulating...if the Phins pull this off this weekend, we will be the talk of the league for "positive" reasons posting one of the most prolific turnarounds in the history of the game.

So call up all of the Patriot fans friends of yours (which shouldn't be too hard to find with all the bandwagon action going on for the past 5 years or so) and let them know that you are "egging" there house if they lose to us on Sunday!...just kidding about the last part.

It could be such a magical situation for all of us in Phinland, as the sun would shine just a little brighter and feel alot warmer on Monday with a huge "W" like that...

We have leadership on both sides of the ball, and we are only some "solid special teams play" away from making a hard push into the playoffs, and once we're in "all bets are off!". I have checked, and there is no rule that says that we can't take it to the Conference Championships this season!

I would have never thought this to be possible in the 1st year of the new regimes command, but as you can tell with this team now,"Get used to the unexpected!". These guys are "for real" and the best part about it is that they are looking to prove it!...

A wonderful time to be a fan!

GO PHINS!!!

Right on man, This is one of the most exciting games we'll watch in a long time! Until the jets game of course, hopefully by then though the jets will have their 4 game losing streak and we'll be 10-5 and on top of our Div!!

It just hit me... What if Miami actually loses sunday.....
I can understand that there will be some that choose to see the other side of the coin, hey, it is what it is! And as long as the human race exists, there will always be people that look on the "not-so-bright" side...

I, on the other hand, and those like me are just taking notice of the seemingly endless potential that this team is currently showing us right now! There are alot of holes to fill, as I already stated, the "not-so" special teams are killing us so far, in fact they potentially "directly" relate to 2 of the loses we currently have on our record.

So I can understand someone's viewpoint of "what if we lose?"...I do get it, trust me...but on that same note my friends...

What if we win?!....

GO PHINS!!!

I'm not going to predict a win for this coming Sunday. The only time in my life I felt comfortable doing that was in 1972. I won a lot of money doing it too.

This team reminds me of that team in many ways, it's tenacity, desire to win and never quit attitude.

This team is not the 72 team though. As stated by another poster, we still have many holes to fill before we expect wins with confidence. However, somehow, I expect this team to overcome it's adversities and keep the games close and respectable. Since the Arozona game we've been doing that.

I find myself more excited now because of the youth and potential this team offers than I did when when we were going 11-5 in the Wanny years. We still need more production from our OL and special teams. Chad #1 is doing a stellar job and IMO is the reason for our success on offense.

I'm very excited about the Miami Dolphins and the potential they have to shoot back to the top of the division and command the respect of the premiere franchise of the NFL that we have been most of our existence.
