I was combing over the roster and I always like to look at the home towns of the players. It got me thinking about the Dolphins from my state, Pa.

Even though they're from the opposite side of the state, I've always been proud of the fact that Dan Marino and Jason Taylor were Pennsylvanian's. Currently Chad Henne and Lousaka Polite are the only notable players from Pa. No.43 Ethan Kilmer, S, is also from Pa but I've never heard of him. Camp fodder.

Can't think of anymore but I know there out there. Mercury Morris is from Pittsburgh, just stumbled across that. God I am bored.

If you'd like to rep a list of Fins from your state please do. If your from Florida you might want to just observe. We know most of the Fins from Florida.

Edit: The list of Dolphins from the state of Ohio is awfully impressive. By far the state with the biggest collection of all-time Dolphin talent.

Just off the top of my head: Paul Warfield, Larry Csonka, Jim Mandich, Chris Chambers, Trace Armstrong, Keith Byars, Ted Ginn Jr.....

Currently the only player from New York is Will Allen who is from Syracuse and went to Syracuse University. Also only 3 Current Players from Florida, Vernon Carey, Eric Green and Joe Cohen.

im from syracuse

To add to this pointless thread....

Tommy Vigorito was from Jersey

Well its a history thread and I thought maybe some older fans might remeber players I don't. Sorry I didn't offer a thread on pointless speculation or the standard repost of someone else's work.

I personally I would like to know who's from my state.

And to the person who said Chad Pennington went to Marshall, thats truely adding nothing since Pennington is from Tennessee.

Channing Crowder was born in Pa. Interesting.

Colorado Phins:

U. of Colorado: Dick Anderson, Brody Heffner-Liddiard, Heath Irwin, Ben Kelly, Mike
Kozlowski, Bo Matthews, Bob Simpson, Steve Young (T, 1977)

Colorado State: Guy Goar, Jerry Porter, Frank Wainwright

Mesa College: Tony Martin, Walter Stanley

Please don't post people's college's. For the most part everyone knows where everyone else went to school.

I only want to know where people are from.

The only one I know off the top of my head is Jason Ferguson from UGA and Georgia.

Well if that's not a thread stopper!

Jim Langer went to the same University I went to but was born in Minnesota. Where he spent every minute from the time he was born to the time he graduated college...I'm not sure.

Chad Henne went to my rival highschool ...we beat him too :) I went to Governor Mifflin in shillington he went to Wilson in west lawn

I live in Lebanon, Pa. I film football games for some semi pro team down there at Governor Mifflen. Locals who have been to Wilson games constantly say how great Henne was.

I wonder if he goes back home during the offseason. It'd be pretty bad *** to meet him. A friend of mine who works at the Auto Body Sports complex down there says he comes in quite often. He said he'd hook me up with an autograph but that has yet to happen.
