Dolphins camp report: Allen impresses; McMichael praises Vick

Damn Saban just told it how it is.

I know, I ate that up, we decide his fate...:sidelol: :sidelol:

When a reporter asked TE Randy McMichael if everybody was going to hold their breath when Culpepper takes his first hit he said, "No. Maybe the fans up in the stands. But not us. We're football players. We know what it's about. A lot of us come back from knee injuries. The one thing about knee injuries is it's not as bad as everybody thinks it is. I think Daunte is going to be fine. I think Daunte will probably go find somebody to hit before they hit him."

Randy knows what Culpepper's about!

Quote of the day.
[FONT=Verdana,Arial, Helvetica]Manny Wright has asked for his release from the Dolphins, but coach Nick Saban declined his request. "Our players do not determine what their outcome is relative to their future. We don't have any of this stuff, 'When it doesn't work here, let me go someplace else.' That's not how it is. If you're not capable, we'll certainly support you and help you. But if you're not interested in doing that, then we determine your fate. You don't."

Good hopefully Manny can get his head back on straight and possibly be productive next year.

My question is has Nick Saban ever had an interview without saying "relative"

Thats high praise on Vick.I am pleasantly surprised.Lets see how he performs gametime.

Saban has taken the Wright attitude about Manny.Just because he is losing the game it doesnt mean he can pick up his marbles and play somewhere else at no cost. The Dolphins have an investment in him.

Great read, Saban decides..I love it. Jason Allen good to hear him doing good.:dolphins:

Great read. Things are looking good in camp. Let's pray there are no major injuries during the preseason and then we will be ready to kick a little butt starting eptember 7th!!!!

As far as Manny goes, perhaps with the right medication and therepy he could do fine. You hate to lose a draft pick on a mental case, but thankfully we're not talking a first rounder here.
