MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced they were awarded linebacker James Crawford off waivers from Green Bay and released linebacker Nate Orchard.
Crawford played in all 16 games as a rookie for Green Bay in 2018. He totaled nine special teams tackles (eight solo) and one fumble recovery. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Green Bay on Aug. 8, 2018. Crawford played collegiately at Illinois but grew up in Deerfield Beach, playing at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale.

See, we upgraded! Things are looking up around here! :chuckle:

Chris Grier obviously plays in one of those fantasy football leagues without a cap on transactions.

I cannot keep track. Going to be hilarious seeing the play by play guys stumbling over these names.
They'll have their faces buried in the media guide the entire game!

Must be a special teams add to go along with Lacey.

Always need backers for specials.

Do you plan to likewise criticize other GMs for picking up players from the waver wire?

POSSIBLY... It would depend on whether or not I suspected the move was a strong one. I think Flores is going out of his way to cut any players who are generally respected within the locker room. I've experienced ...ahem... 'leaders' like this and I think what he is doing is weak and well... cowardly.

I could be wrong, I have been before. Are you positive that your defense of Flores is justified? ...and if so... why?
