The Dolphins claimed safety Trae Elston off waivers from the Bills, two days before the teams play in Miami. They placed safety Michael Thomas on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Can't say I know anything about him. I guess that makes it an even 15 on IR?

Ozzy rules!!

That could be it for Thomas...

Despite his less than stellar play, he will always have a place in my heart as a fan, for that first game against NE.

That whole story. Oversleeping, waking up just in time to board the flight to Miami, getting thrown into action following an injury against the Patriots, just to pick off Brady in the end zone to win the game, crying tears of joy. The dude had his moment for sure

Wow. He said they were skeptical of him when he came in because he was another kid from Stanford... Is he referring to Jonathan Martin? I think he is.

I remember alot from that game, as the Pats were driving I would say most of the stadium expected Brady to win the game as usual- kinda like Rodgers at the end of that game when we didnt recover the fumble beforehand against them.

It was such a great and surprising feeling. Leaving the stadium that day was great.

Yes, I think he is. Stanford has reputation of intellectual elitism and very gay friendly community.

Yes! I was also there for that game. Such a great memory when Thomas made that endzone INT!!

Man how bad is that injury? Worded like a retirement speech.

I get it, he is gonna look for as much guaranteed money as he can get, and he sees that cap and realizes Miami probably ain't in the market for a depth safety and special teamer, definitely not at a "guaranteed" price.

Guys like him and Williams at RB were both luxury 1.8 million tender signings that the team won't have the luxury of enjoying in 2018. People think Landry is a cap casualty . . . Its these guys, resigning Aikens and Fede, stuff like that, that will be the issue. Miami has to replace those guys with young guys. Malveaux, Lucas, Perry and Maurice Smith all need to make jumps to fill those voids.

That could be it for Thomas...

I hope not. He is a class person, quality teammate, and a nice veteran head for our young secondary. Not a starter, but he's the type of guy for whom we can usually find a spot on the roster.
