Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase talked trash Monday describing his team’s offense.
“Just garbage,” he said.
That might be unfair to landfills.
Gase said the Dolphins’ 20-6 loss Sunday at the New York Jets matched their worst offensive performance since he became head coach in 2016.
After reviewing the videotape, he threatened a lineup shake-up.

He didn't threaten anything. People need to watch his PC instead of just reading the articles.

Gase was disappointed, upset, angry, you name it. But his tone wasn't threatening towards the players. He mentioned looking at every possible angle to correct this, and that includes lineup changes.

Also, it's obvious some guys are not showing the professionalism he expects, he did allude to that a couple of times. But if that's the case, then I'm all for those guys being held accountable for their lack of preparation or whatever else is happening.

Now, he definitely needs to improve his pre-game planning and gameday play-calling, and I'm sure he knows that. But some of these articles are making it sound like he's only pointing fingers at the players instead of taking himself the blame. Watching his PC I didn't get that impression at all.

The play calling sucks, but the roster has major flaws. I know they couldn't predict Timmons going AWOL and McMillan getting hurt, but the LB core was already a huge concern. Now it's trash again. We have 3rd string LBs starting. Even Alonso looks like a somebody who shouldn't be starting. The CBs were also a big concern as I don't like Maxwell and Howard seems to have taken a step back. I was never a fan of McCain and the depth after that is sad. The CBs are hard to watch. They give them a 10 yard cushion on every play. The guard position is still a mess. Bushrod being the starter at guard again is a joke. And don't get me started on the defensive scheme (although that's on the coaches).

It sucks that Tannehill got hurt and we would be better with him than Cutler, but there was still major flaws on this team that weren't really addressed as much as they should have been.

I don't like the coaching. I don't like the scheme. But I'm simply tired of Tannenbaum. A good amount of these players have no business starting on an NFL roster. They aren't executing.

We better make some damn changes. Right now Ja'Wuan James is the best o-lineman by far so any other changes on the o-line would be fine with me. Also Julius Thomas flat out sucks in every way. He's a bum. Cutler is washed up as an NFL QB also.

I've said this many times before. It all starts up front and our o-line was destroyed by their D-line. It's that simple. I know some people want to blame the QB but Ajayi didn't do anything either. Do we need a new RB too? Of course not. The O-line need to do it's job and yesterday they just didn't.

Ozzy rules!!

This is what happens when you neglect the guard position. It's going to get even worse when Pouncey eventually gets hurt.

Don't know if it will help if the playcalling doesn't improve.:meh
Same running plays were called and it was effective against LAC. And LAC supposes has good run defense. If it worked against LAC, there is no reason for not working against the jets. It's all about effort. I can understand facing teams like Ravens or Denver, but not the jets.

It's time to get some speed on defense, Stephone Anthony, Tankersley, McTyer... and let Asiata get a chance on offense.
