Dolphins Combine Meetings

Miles Frazier might be my favorite Day 3 OL. Looked good in Senior Bowl practices, looks fluid here at the combine, like his size at 6'6 317

This draft is shaping up to be what I've been reading about. Day two is where it's at. There is so much depth it's insane.

Yeah as much as taking a top 10 guy that may fall is tempting think the move is to trade back. Picks 15-50 are all similar players, if we can grab a 2nd by moving back like 8 spots it’d be great

Please please please Miami. This will be the first time, I think ever, I got the pick right. Especially when I called it like 2 months ago.

But that's why I know it won't happen lol.

I keep going back and forth between Membou and Booker though lol.

Bro, seriously, go smoke a bong or something and post it on social media. PLEASE MEMBOU

He is another good IOL prospect. Thats why I am not worried about being able to address the IOL in round 2. There are several good IOL prospects in the round 2 range.

True. But, in fairness, teams has such horrible o line play last couple seasons that they may start focusing more on O line specifically IOL.

THERE are about 12 teams, minimum picking before us at 48 who will most likely dress o line. Some, like the Bears maybe twice.

So it really is a gamble to wait till 48. Sure Milum or Saavinea may be there at 48, but is it really worth passing on the top 4 in hopes 1 will be there at 48?

I wouldn't, but I know some will. We shall see.

I just always worry. Let's say Miami drafts, oh I dunno, Pierce at 13. Then we are sitting there at 48 and because it's a deep defensive class, Amos or Grant/ Harmon are still on the board. Are we confident Miami will pull the trigger on O line? That's the problem with waiting. There will always be a player like Sweat or Nakobe Dean that falls unexpectedly.

That's what I am saving 48 for. I'm drafting my choice at O line at 13, then swooping up the stud Defensive player that falls. In this draft, there will be.

We should only be so lucky dumb Gm’s over think his hand size arm length and our bad gm smartens up and takes him if he drops

Yeah, only reason I don't talk about him is because I see no way he is there at 13. But it's a no brainer if he is

He was SEC First Team Offense and has been impressive in the combine workouts. He is very good.
Ratledge is very good, gave up 2 sacks in his career in the SEC and I don't think Mullet Man last until the third round. I don't think Zabel lasts past the first round, too versatile, too good.
I thought the Arizona OL Jonah Savaiinea looked great today and very good at the Senior Bowl, might have the versatility to play both G and T.

Not impressed with Wyatt Milum. He looks too tall to be a guard and not very athletic. Reminds me of last year's starter for us at RG.

Liked what I saw and heard about Will Campbell and Kelvin Banks I don't think short arms are going to prevent teams who need OL ahead of us from taking a guy they think can play tackle like these two prospects.

Membou was really good today and grew an inch and a quarter from his Senior Bowl measurement. DJ said he can stick at RT at 6'4" and change but I think he'd be a great right guard as would Zabel.

This formerly considered UDFA WR really had to have helped himself at the Combine. Check out those numbers:

We better come out of this draft with some day one starters.
Great draft for OG and DT.

Yup, this is why I keep shrugging it off when people say this is a defensive draft.

Sure it is, but it's a GREAT draft for exactly the type of Linemen Miami needs

Last year was a great draft for IOL. This draft is perfect for Miami.

It's true Negligence if Miami does not have both Guards taken care of after this draft. Miami was and still is in prime position to fix the dang o line for years to come.

Do not fall for the defensive player trap, please.
