Just thought I'd let you guys know that on the teaser for NFL live they have a segment on the fins coming up, 'Pep was mentioned and also if we can challenge for the AFC East title.

They showed a clip of Saban talking about how he is pleased with Dante's progress.

They talked about how we can't win without Culpepper being healthy. :rolleyes:

Clayton said they are considering Marcus at WR, odds are against him being signed.

Ricky's future is in Sabans hands regarding the CFL. Ricky says he wants to play.

They said we're not going to challenge for the AFC East title because of QB and O-Line.

Ahh what do they know, we're Super Bowl Bound!
 
Saw the tail end of it...

- Dolphins will have a "challenge" in trying to beat New England this year

- Vick is too short to play QB and Dolphins may put him at WR

- Ricky wants to play in the CFL, and now its up to Saban to decide

- Still questionable with when Culpepper will come back..
 
well we really can't deny the facts that daunte's injury takes a year to get better. they talked about jerry rice having the injury and coming back and blowing his knee out.

i beg to differ.
 
schlerth is ignoring the fact were going after a backup, which is ok cuz we don't exactly have a guy who we can feel confident starting the season with if Daunte's not healthy. But once we grab Harrington... he should go back and rethink that one. He's also not factoring that NE isn't quite the team that dominated the division a few years ago.
 
Nothing new that most people dont know , said also culpepper will miss at least 7 games and there going by an injury not even as series as his in whitch take a year to heal .. I think 2007 is going to be our year ricky,ronnie and a healthy pepper i smell super bowl !!!
 
I love how clayton said that Vick is a "pocket passer" and has 4.65 speed. I don't see how someone who's that slow would be considered for a receiver position, but whatever, he's not making our team that's for sure.
 
Check his combine times; they were under 4.5

So he actually ran much faster at the combine; don't know where Clayton got that time.

Clayton is a respectable source, I'm sure he has something to base his numbers on.
