It won't stay like this I'm sure, but I want to just recap what happened today.

I woke up and saw The Dolphins getting trounced once again. I then saw Cris Carter back tracking after talking to Mike Poncey...The same cris carter who was almost in tears at shouting at the Dolphins of having a lack of leadership and finger pointing on Monday night.

Then the players said enough..and the fire storm began..Ryan Tannehill's news conference lead into something I saw on ESPN 2..Antonio Pierce basically saying Cogs was wrong, but so was Martin. Trey wingo in shock and not knowing what to say on NFL Live with not only Tannehill making such definitive statements, but now Pierce saying there was an experience similar in NY and they handled it in house. Chris Mortonson still trying to say The Dolphins changed there position, but Pierce repeating again that Martin never reached out to anyone.

Then I flipped on NFL Network and word was leaking all over the place that the fins were fighting back...Hartline...Clabo...Wallace..John Jerry. Heath Evans, of all people, saying there's more to the story then meets the eye. Kreggle of NFL AM saying that a lot of the culture in the NFL Locker room is different then real world. Now these guys, most who bashed us yesterday, are now not switching sides, just switching positions of low toned...there confused, instead of shouting and condemning the Dolphins. Saying they want to see more...something they should of said in the beginning.

Driving to school, almost a somer Mike Wilbon saying its a big story and he wants to see what context everything was said in. Wilbon is the absolute first guy to call racisim. I was shocked at his very level headed position today even not fully blaming incognito for what he said may of been a spat between friends.

If the Ireland thing is true then everything will turn around again. But the conviction of the Dolphins today and how angered and convincing and accusing they were absolutely caught all the media off guard and put everyone on there heels. The Ricky Williams,Chad Johnsons, and other ex black players saying Incognito was not racist and questioning J Martin has put them on there heals. The team looks united, the team looks angry and the team, if the can ever get back to football, looks poised to make a run.

I dunno whos right or wrong in all this, but all I know was it was criminal to go after guys like Cam Wake,Wallace and Tanheill like I have heard people defame there character and it Wakes case his "Brother" hood. They did this all off speculation that they "should" of known. Those guys shut them the F up today.

Quote of the day from Hartline: "The Media is bullying us and now its our time to fight back"

Ireland from a management standpoint could get fired (weather Ross wants to or not) for condoning violence, however I agree with everything else you heard and said.

The leadership of that locker room would not allow bullying or harassement to go on!NOBODY THOUGHT ANY OF THAT WAS GOING ON. SURPRISE AND SHOCK IS REAL.

What's this? The media overreacted? Rushed to be the first to publish a story and didn't get their facts straight? Absolutely shocking! ;-)

Thuth in "journalism" has been dead for well over a decade. Now it doesn't matter if you got it right, all that matters is who was first. Better to report a rumor from a fan site forum with 0 corroborating evidence, than to be the second to report it, true or not.

The problem here is Incogs was doing alot of this stuff off the field with phone calls and texts. Are teams suppose to have a team of people following twitter and act like the NSA with phone messages?

I think not.

People have to start thinking as if they were in a courtroom and everything is based on florida law and such. Otherwise, it just becomes an NFL thing where they make changes.

So now the NFL will say GM's have to monitor their players after the leave the facility?

Florio and Shefter aren't backtracking, to them its a game and they just don't want to lose...

Hartline calling out the media was so effing awesome i couldnt believe it! that alone brought him up a notch in my book. That was probably the best thing anyone of them could have said

Martin couldn't possibly have seriously been threatened by that voicemail from APRIL.

The person who leaked it to the media likewise knew it wasn't serious that's why they leaked a TRANSCRIPT and not the actual voicemail.

The transcript actually says Ritchie was laughing on it. This whole thing is a joke. I think Martin's father is the mover behind the scenes that has so

effectively slimed the Dolphins

It's funny, and I said yesterday, if you listened to CBS Sports Radio anybody who had played sports at a college or pro level (Doug Gottlieb, Brandon Tierney, Tiki Barber) all refused to bash the organization and just said that Richie went too far.

Then as people actually talked to players the situation changed, and Murtha's article this morning is changing more peoples' minds.

I think what shocked more people was players around the league weren't that upset. Some said that would never happen in their locker room (which in some cases is Bull **** because a few years ago ESPN did a piece on how far Adrian Wilson and Matt Leinart went to prank people on the Cards), but a lot said Martin didn't handle it right.

couple that with the fact that he said call me back at the end of the voicemail. and he played the vm in the lockerroom laughing about it

Well written, well said. I noticed the same turn in the tide.

Lets go and kick some ass Monday night. That is how they should fight back. WIN!

I think Florio views everything through the prism of an attorney. I read his posts and I don't see anything other than a guy thinking about liability.

I'm not an Ireland defender, but is there any proof that this actually occurred??

At this point you're taking the word of J-Mart's agent. Does that really sound like something an NFL GM would say, or how a conversation real goes between an agent and GM?

With that said, Ireland did ask if Dez's mom was a lady of the night? So who knows what he is capable of saying.
