Moon Runner / The 3 AM Crew
I was on a Cowboy's site and heard this rumor posted by a Dallas fan...I wasn't able to find any links for the rumor, so I think it is just that...but I thought I would post it to see what you guys thought of it:
I got this while reading cbs sportsline:
RUMOR: Parcells want more of "HIS" guys from BIGD
Rumors are starting to pile up that Bill Parcells and Jerry Jones are communicating again. There is a possibility that Dallas gives the Dolphins Akin Ayodele, Marcus Spears, Miles Austin, Terry Glenn, and their 5th round pick in exchange for Jason Taylor and the overall #32 pick in the draft.
This would indicate to me that Dallas plans to move Ellis back to the line to take Spears spot and Taylor would play Ellis' spot. Actually, this would make for a very versitile line-up on the left side, opposite Ware. With Ellis and Taylor switching up all game long, the right side of the O-line couldn't handle this, Ware would be single covered all game long. Zach Thomas would be playing in Ayodele's spot and playing beside a familiar face to make both of their transitions alot smoother, they are also brother-in-laws. Not to mention, this trade, if contracts can be reworked with their new team, could clear a good bit of cap space and give the boys' that #32 pick. Then it wouldn't matter what order they select between CB, RB, WR because they have great value with the picks being so close.
For Miami, it makes sense. Bill Parcells knows that #32 pick is hit and miss, plus, they need more than one prospect at this time. He is the one who went after Spears in the 1st rd 3 yrs ago, he's the one who wanted Ayodele when Dallas signed him 2 years ago, he's always liked Glenn and still believes in him and he's the reason Austin ever made the team. All of these guys are young except Glenn Plus, the Dolphins have another 2nd rounder and they receive a 5th rd pick and get rid of the disgruntled Taylor. This deal works for both sides! Hurry up and get this worked up, because I'm very happy about this news!
