Dolphins | Culpepper needs to work on timing

David J. Neal, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper's accuracy is an area he must improve upon during the course of the season. "We missed a couple throws where we had guys open, and I think those are all timing issues," head coach Nick Saban said of Culpepper. "I don't think it is a matter of ability. I think it is a matter of timing - putting the ball on the guy when he is ready for it, making the choice and decision at the right time based on what you see, and I think the more we practice, the more we play, the better we are going to get at all that stuff.''

Man I really hope Daunte gets more comfortable with his recievers and throws....I loved the pick up during the offseason and I'm not giving up on him just yet....Another thing is I dont understand some who stuck with Feely all season long and now wont give Daunte a chance....

like most of us have said since thursday, daunte had the brilliance of old but also had moments of rust, he will get that squared away, chambers and daunte started hooking it up, they will build off of that this week, daunte will be fine

yeah culpepper and chambers really started to show some chemistry in the second half. i know they are going to be HUGE next week against the bills. i hate to sound arrogant, but mark my words they will do big things together next week.

who cares if people give him a chance or not? what good will it do for them to just talk crap about daunte when saban knows how good this guy is? daunte is our qb for the next five or six years. people better get used to it. and daunte is one of the most accurate qbs of all time, hell be fine. what wed be better off hoping for is his mobility. hes a great qb without it, but better with it. accuracy will be fine. ronnie will start running the ball and hopefully the secondary wont continuously give up the lead on big plays.
when people start their daunte sucks bs just ignore it. most of them are just 13 year old kids who have never really seen daunte play before

100 percent right, he is the future people need to get over it

I hope Culpepper does well versus the Bills. Their secondary isn't that great once you get away from their corners and their linebackers can't cover worth a damn, or stop the run either since their d-line gets molested every play.

hheheheheheheh lol you know whos on chris right ? nate i like nate psysicality but i dont know hes cover skills, but if buffalo plays the same defense as last time chris is gonna gonna go for 21.

Week 3 or 4 these guys will be clicking a lot better. Were going to see some good football over the next few weeks and if Sunday night is the worst that we are going to look, I can live with that, because we still would have beat most of the teams in the AFC with that performance.
