Dolphins cut Laing; sign Warmsley and Winn

Cleyon Laing was cut from the practice squad today while Julius Warmsley was signed to the practice squad. We also signed former Lions RB George Winn who played collegiately at the University of Cincinnati.

Winn to the practice squad or regular roster?

& everyone was hoping Laing would be the next Wake.

Not sure if he is a practice squad addition or 53 man. It was just listed in todays transactions but didn't specify. Will do some checking. I would think it would be to the 53 man roster since we have an opening there and would've had to have cut a player from the practice squad to make room for him.

i am guessing then Winn is a good special teams player. move doesn't make sense for them to bring him to the 53 out of nowhere. what is going to happen to Culliver smh.

I'm with you, thought that spot was open for Culliver tbh.

There are outlets and a reporter saying he signed with the Giants. Someone doesn't have the correct info.

LOL I give up - especially for a fringe player. No other Miami beat writers have him here so there's that.

Wouldn't put much stock Winn couldn't crack the Lions backfield this season. At one point they were pulling people off the street to play RB.
