According to Armando Larry Johnson has been cut.

Hopefully this is to get Hilliard some carries and not to avoid giving LJ a guaranteed contract
 
Not a shock. LJ is still NOT the runner he once was. He had the one decent run against Dallas but that was it. He didn't do anything else.

Besides, he will still be available down the road in case we suffer injuries at RB. Teams aren't going to be falling over themselves to sign him.
 
Me and him had some good memories. 75 yard run to win the game out of the wildcat. Him + Reggie were nasty.
 
Let's not act as if any of us can say what LJ still has based on a few plays in one preseason game...one of them was a pretty darn nice TD. If we had all been there for his practices and all, and saw a little more of a body of work, maybe we could say with more accuracy what he has or hasn't got at this point.
I don't know whether he had it or not, obviously the fins don't think so...just saying we weren't privy to enough to tell.
