Dolphins Cut LJ

As was already said, we cut him now and avoid a guaranteed contract. Its the smart play. We pick up a better 3rd stringer, maybe Chester or Stafon Johnson. And if we do nothing, then odds are LJ will still be there and we can scoop him up again. No biggie here.
 
Agreed they might still look at him a bit down the line again...but we'll see....could be better fodder out there today

He didn't have one good game against Dallas. He had one good carry. I'm glad we're sensible enough to let him go.
 
i think larry will make another roster if we cut and bring back to avoid guaranteed money also makes the FO look cheap

Let's not act as if any of us can say what LJ still has based on a few plays in one preseason game...one of them was a pretty darn nice TD. If we had all been there for his practices and all, and saw a little more of a body of work, maybe we could say with more accuracy what he has or hasn't got at this point.
I don't know whether he had it or not, obviously the fins don't think so...just saying we weren't privy to enough to tell.

i disagree...you should have been able to tell watching him approach the los in the cowboys game the guy had nothing left...no burst...nothing...
