Dolphins Cut LJ

well frankly i don't think you know what your looking at then... i'll skip the sideways smiley face

larry might not have the burst you want though he has vision and will get the most out of his blocks
unlike the rookie thomas and hillard

Ah, so the post was edited and toned down I see...lol

Say what you want, bro. I don't mind...you have your opinion I have mine. Mine simply being we didn't see enough quite yet as fans. Obviously, the team did though cause they saw a lot more of him than we did. My opinion was never on whether he should have been cut or not, but whether in that brief look where he had good and not so good carries, we hadn't seen enough. No big deal man.

and this garbage about they didn't want to pay him guaranteed money unless they signed larry johnson to some obnoxious 1 year deal which you'd have to be an idiot to do considering he had no market and was on the street that should not be an issue...best case he should have signed a 1 year vet minimum deal...in which case if you think he could have helped you you pay the money

the guys washed up...thats the reality...and his legs would never have been more fresh than they were the other night...and it was obvious that he had nothing

I'm kind of surprised as I thought the team might kept him around as a the third string back. Maybe they just brought him here to teach Thomas a lesson or to light a fire under his butt? Other than that I can hardly see what he was here for, as he wasn't too bad in the game.

Totally agree he is leaning more toward the washed up side....but likely being he would only have been used here and there situationaly, not running his legs to death, he had some value in a few scenarios, being that on this particular team we haven't seen real good short yardage or running behind blocking yet from some of the guys. No biggie either way. I'm betting they are already eyeing another cut that seemed more intriguing to them today.

Dam, Grand ma ma looked good for the short time he was here....I actually wanted to see him get carries but I figure they don't want to take carries away from Thomas

It's a good thing that the team won't have the temptation to take away from Thomas in the early going. I remember it took Ronnie Brown a couple games to do anything at all, so sometimes you just gotta let a guy pound the rock until he finds his groove.

I think this was a dumb move. He looked pretty good from what I saw. Guess it does not matter who is running the ball when our o-line plays that bad. They need to get it together!

I told all the negative nellies (on Thomas) that LJ was just a tackling dummy.

Their goes our depth. Didnt't see this one coming. So Reggie Thomas Hillard? We betta f***in pick someone up off other teams cuts! Anyone good backs got cut today from other teams?

Go Phins!

Wait didn't the Dolphins just let LJ have a press conference promising greatness?

Glad he was let go. Didn't really like the move but I just whatever'ed it, didn't ***** and moan like most here when he was signed. I wonder if we're gonna bring in someone else or if Hilliard is just gonna take the spot?

Really interesting that two years in a row a vet comes in and plays pretty decent then gets cut..I was for sure Charles Grant was going to make the team last year..So its Reggie, Danny and Lex and Clay..I wonder who we go out and get...Ryan Grant?
