"It's the best rushing team in the NFL and we understand that and we know our work is going to be cut out for us," said Dolphins outside linebacker Jason Taylor, who as the strong side linebacker is going to be asked to do more against the run. "This is one heck of a test to come out of the gates with, the Atlanta Falcons, after the success they had last year and the quarterback playing at a high level. They've got a new tight end that's one of the best to ever play that position. Their running game is very formidable so it's going to be a good test for us, but we like to think it's going to be a good test for them, too."

Actually I am glad Miami takes Atlanta out of the gate! It will tell a lot about this season and on paper they have a respectable O if Miami can stop it then it should be a good season because on paper Miami's D has also improved, now let’s execute and prove it!

I always felt the key to stopping Hot-lanta for us was stopping the rush... Alot on here talk about their undersized OL as an obvious advantage for the Phins... But I think this might be overstating with a RB the size of Turner.

He is a 'contact' back and takes more than one to bring him down. We need sure tackling and aggressive play from our defensive interior... Two things which have been inconsistent at times...

If Turner starts to roll we have serious trouble... because it will bring Ryan into play... This one is on the defensive interior. I say stop Turner... and dare the sophmore to beat our new pass rush.

Yup I agree with that. Ryan is only a second year player making him try and beat you is a sound game plan. Sometimes I think the sophomore jinx is more about players trying to prove too much rather then just playing with their own flow.

Mr. Ryan is still young he will make mistakes, the Dolphins have to capitalize on them.

JT is 260+ and fresh that's the key our D is fresh wouldn't want this match up later in the year when the D is banged up... This is a great opportunity
