Dion Jordan cannot even practice for at least another five weeks, but the Dolphins’ defensive end is determined to be part of the team in every way possible.

Jordan, who missed all of 2015 after a third failed drug test, was one of six players who handed out school supplies to local students in need at a Dolphins community event Tuesday.
Also, coaches have praised Jordan’s commitment to getting his career on track; he meets regularly with local counselors as part of his reinstatement plan.

While not ideal, Jordan told the Miami Herald Tuesday that the team’s decision to put him on NFI was not a surprise.
“I had to heal from what was going on with my knee,” Jordan said. “I wasn't too surprised. It was something I had to do. The sooner the better with that situation. I got it done as soon as possible.”

It is at the point where I'm just sick of him talking and want him to get on the field and contribute

Dion Jordan? Who is that? One of the ball boys? Well get better soon whoever you are.

Good for him! Looking forward to seeing the new Dion on the field!

Yes, I do believe in second chances.

This worthless piece of crap got hurt while being suspended lol Probably tripped on his bong or accidently stepped on his steroid needle

What about third, fourth, fifth, sixth chances?

Had enough of this clown.

This guys has missed almost two years of playing time and is still healing from his college rotator injury lol.
Dont look at him too hard he will get injured

So far the guy has been an extremely large bag of garbage. Not much hope....

Just a simple thought. Maturity can do a lot for a person. Also realizing you have a gift that you are wasting. Not a perfect comparison. But anyone remember Cam Wake's early days? Not a 1st round pick... but that pressure and money and ego boost can be more of a detriment than what Cam went through. Hoping only.

Can't disagree that Dion has been a huge disappointment to date but there is no harm in getting him healthy and then seeing what he can offer. At his size and speed he could come in handy later in the season. Remember, he also has his old college roommate Kiko Alonso who will kick him in the butt and get him totally focused on football. If he screws up or performs poorly on the field, he's gone. This is his last chance and he knows it. Hopeful that he can contribute.

I'll continue to wish the best for this kid. Rough start for sure...
