Dolphins discuss trade with Rams for the No.2 pick

It's going to be hard to beat out the browns who have #4 and #22.(#36 would be included as well) STL can move back two slots and still ensure Khalil or Blackmon is there, and then get 2 more top talents right away at #22 and #36. I can't see the browns not going for that either. It would cost them the least and they are the best equipped. They dont really want anyone in the top 5 but the qbs, anyway. My hope is that if we really want RG3, that Cleveland signs Flynn.

Man just reading that I don't know why they might be better off just keeping the picks and going for Flynn. Essentially for them they can have Flynn and 2 1st round picks and a high 2 or RGIII. As a GM i'm probably going with the first option unless i'm 100% positive RGIII is the next elite qb.

theres other options this year , no reason to trade away the next 2 drafts for a qb that we will have to watch go through the learning process for the next 2 or 3 years.

I just want them to fall in love with one specific prospect, and do whatever it takes to get him. Whether that's trading up for RG3, paying Flynn, drafting Tannehill a little high because they didn't dare take a chance of losing him, I don't care, as long as they have a true, decisive conviction about one of them. I'd prefer it not be Manning, just because of his age and health.

I like to hear us being aggressive, but I don't think we have the ammo to get RG3. Browns have a boatload of picks, Redskins don't really care about picks so they'll give up the farm.

We can draft RG3 and then fill other needs in free agency. Lets say we trade 4 picks (1st, 2nd 3rd this year and 1st next year) for RG3 and we sign Mario Williams and Reggie Nelson in free agency, is anybody going to be angry with that off season? We just got a stud QB, a great pass rusher and a playmaking safety. Not too shabby.

2 words... Salary Cap.

I rather not. I think that peyton and tannenhill will be doable. If tannenhill last until the 2nd round.

RG3 is not going to be very expensive and we're going to be significantly under the cap if we let Langford, Solai and Carey go. If the Eagles can sign 56 free agents last year, we can find a way to bring in one Elite player, one pretty good player and a 2nd overall pick.
