MIA needs an "athletic" TE, 'not' another WR. The reason MIA seems to have taken a step back receiving-wise is because of our loss of DAVID MARTIN.

Last season it was DAVID MARTIN who we had that stretched the middle of the field and caught all those long passes and made many BIG plays and scored TDs. He was our Gates, if you will.

So this offseason, MIA needs to draft an athletic TE "and" re-sign DAVID MARTIN. Let Fasano battle it out with Haynos for the 3rd TEs spot. This would add explosion to our receiving core.

I don't believe we need to add any or replace any of our WRs. Ginn, Turner, Hartline, and Camarillo are our core. Bess should be challenged by a speedster that can be Ginn's backup.

Sure, Ginn didn't make that tough catch at the end, but Bess dropped two of those types throughout the game. Ginn is fine. He just shouldn't have been the WR targeted there, it should have been our athletic TE, which we currently don't have right now.

MIA does need to either use our 1st round pick on POrter's replacement at ROLB or sign one this offseason. Wake is JT's eventual replacement..so that's good. And we need to draft or sign another NT to rotate with Solia.

Our secondary will be set with another season to gel, as will our OL.

If MIA 'does' choose to add another #1 type? It should be via FA, not the draft and to replace Bess, not Ginn. But I feel its actually a big play TE that we need, not a #1 WR. Ginn, Turner, Camarillo, Hartline and a backup speedster should be a good corps with that added Antonio Gates type..JMObservation.

We need a WR. Look at it this way - if NE didnt have WR Randy Moss, they probably dont beat us this year or last year.

I feel like we could use both. i dont know the answer to the wr. do we draft one or sign one thru free agency? over the last 10 years or so neither way has worked very well. We have drafted Yatil Green, Larry Shannon, i think that was the guys name. Chris chambers, ted ginn and Pat Turner. We have signed Dedric Ward, James Mcnight and im sure i am missing a few others, oh yeah traded for David Boston.

It just seems like we cant get the wr straight. Was Larry Shannon the wr that Jimmy Johnson said could do everything that Randy Moss can do?

You're starting to see Haynos evolve in to that role.

Nah, we drafted Ginn, Turner, and Hartline. We don't need to draft anymore. If we add someone, then it should be via FA, or draft a PR that will be Ginn's backup to replace Bess. But that's it.

We need to re-sign David Martin and also draft an Antonio Gates type of athletic guy. Maybe keep Fasano for blocking. And we be fine on Offense. Especially with a season under Hartline's belt and Turner will be ready by then...we good.

Ginn is what he is. A deep threat/KR. Leave it like that. Add Martin and Gates.

Haynos is "NOT" athletic. He is a plain old regular TE. Not a David Martin athletic type. Which basically is a TE with WR skills.

But that's for next season. For the rest of this season? We need to activate Pat Turner and have him work the middle of the field. Sorry, Bess. But we need to give Camarillo more passes along with Hartline and allow Bess to fade away...

We need a bigtime WR and a TE. These WRs are not going to cut it. Bess is ok, Hartline has potential. Camarillo to me is just like Hartline. Ginn is...well, who knows. Turner we haven't seen but I'm guessing thats a bad sign.

We need a big play WR. We've needed one for a while. but now its more evident that no one can make a big play. Sometimes Henne won't hit them right in the numbers and they will have to make a catch that isn't simple. Like Ginn's on the 4th down today. A solid WR makes that play 8 times out of 10. Our WRs rarely if ever make it. No one is reliable imo...so how could anyone NOT say we need a WR?

Lafell in the 2nd, Arran henandez in the 4th, problems solved. mcclain in the 1st and best OLB in 3rd. im sure a really good one will slip to the 3rd with all the talent in the draft.

You are delusional. Yes we are weak at TE due to injuries, but we are weak at WR because GINN IS NOT FINE. HE IS A PAPER DOLL THAT CANNOT CATCH.

I think there will be some good WR's in this draft.

I am liking the kid from Cincinatti. Gillyard?

Umm we need both. WR is our number one need on this team IMO, and i wasn't one of those ppl asking for a WR in round last year..
I dont think we resign fasano.. he is crap with Henne at QB, he cant even catch ronnies throws..

of all the recievers, i think haynos is the only one showing improvement this year. i think bess, camarillo, fasano, and ginn have all plateaud, and we need some new blood. I'm tired of WR's dropping balls for Henne, if Henne had the tools, I think he'd be looking alot better.

In two years though, we should have a new looking WR corp, and Henne should be entering his prime, I gotta say I like what Henne's done every week. These WR's suck though

No we need a big time receiver that strikes fear into defenses draws double coverage and is a threat running every route! This opens up lots of options on offense, and also will build the confidence of our young QB.

Haynos is a Parcells type TE. He is starting to step up and make plays. Parcells has always had a solid TE and with the development of Haynos, hopefully Fasano can shake the funk he is in.

Fasano is starting to come around and Haynos is getting better each game. I see a lot of improvements with Haynos in his blocking.

Part of that has to do with the fact that Martin was a WR coming out of college that Green Bay converted to a TE. I thought Haynos was pretty solid out there today, though.
