You absolutely do this for that very reason, even if the Fins DON'T want Mayfield. If the Bills are still at #12, and Arizona is at #14, and Baker Mayfield is there when the Dolphins are on the clock at 11, I call both the Bills and the Cardinals and say "Draft pick cage match. You two. Go."

It's also worth dissecting his game to find any glaring weaknesses our defense can capitalize. Considering there's a decent chance we'll have to play him twice a season.

Miami would most probably need to trade up to draft Mayfield. It’s going to cost picks in 2019. Hope all Dolphins fans can handle the loss of a #1 and #3 in 2019. Buffalo is sitting pretty with 2 picks in each round of the 2018 draft. Miami would need to outbid them by a lot to trade up. I’m not ok with that, let Baker Mayfield bust somewhere else, please!!!
