Dolphins' draft board includes about 140 players

DAVIE, Fla. -- There will be 253 players selected in next week's NFL draft. But according to the Miami Dolphins, there are only about 140 players of interest this year who fit their system.

That's interesting. One would assume they would have a lot more than 140 but it makes sense that they have eliminated the players they simply don't want.

Considering the likely hood that they have keyed on about 4-5 primary positions of concern I believe they will find the players they truly covet.

I am sure the 5th round will see at least one curve where they select a player no one would've assumed they would like maybe a right tackle if the value is presented to them.

Seems a bit light for two reasons. One, who do you pick at the end of the draft after everyone on your board is gone? Also who do you have targeted as UDFAs if your draft board isn't that deep?
