Dolphins early season odds 2012

I say the Dolphins have a legitimate shot at 10-6 this season, providing everyone's health is good.

I don't see how the Fins are favored vs the Texans, Pats, 49'ers, or at Cincinnati but I know nothing about setting odds
 
Have a shot at a 10-6 season? Sure, any team does at the start of the season. Will it actually happen? Likely not.

I remember back in 1982/1983 season there was a new coach in Washington. They lost their 1st 4 games and the fan base was screaming the fire this guy named Gibbs. Well that team went on to beat the Miami Dolphins in the Super Bowl that year and I believe he won a few more too.


I guess my point is, I hope the masses give this coaching regime and the team time to grow. All I want is well-run games. I don't mind losing for the right reasons.

You aren't reading it correctly. The team with the minus and the number by it's name is the favorite.

Its good to see that you're not a betting man...stay that way.
 
I googled around & found our current Over/Under is 8.5 ... not bad & matches up with the odds in this link.

Whoopee ... that's up from 7.5 last year!! I might get my long-time wish of rising above the .500 Mendoza Line & staying there .... that's a huge FIRST Step on the way back to respectability.

No one will take you seriously if you're always below .500 ... we've seen that repeatedly in the press & our fans complain, but it IS what it IS!!
 
So vegas is putting us at 9-7... Thats pretty much what I expect.
