Dolphins Elect Team Captains For 2019 Season

Head Coach Brian Flores revealed Friday that center Daniel Kilgore will be captain on offense; linebacker Jerome Baker and safety Bobby McCain on defense; and Walt Aikens on special teams.

Kilgore, McCain and Aikens all were captains last season, while Baker will be a team captain for the first time.

Deiter mentioned Kilgore as one of the guys really helping him, I guess it was noticed. Baker is receiving rare and strong praise. Must mean they see him in the long term plans. McCain is a natural, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was a tad disappointed that Minkah Fitzpatrick wasn't chosen.
