A "person close" to free agent Peyton Manning insists there is no clear leader in the race for his servies, but that he would like to reach a decision by Sunday.
"He's going to make a careful decision," the source said. "But anyone who says they know what he's doing is wrong. No one knows." CBS' Mike Freeman believes Arizona, Denver, Miami and Tennessee are all still in play for Manning, but that the Broncos and Titans are the favorites. Manning is reportedly through making visits. According to WSMV Nashville, Tennessee governor Bill Haslam called Manning during his Wednesday visit with the Titans and implored him to sign with Tennessee.

So Mike Freeman has a source who tells him that anyone who is picking favorites for manning has no clue what they are talking about... And then goes on to say who he thinks are the favorites??? Lmao jesus h christ....:rolleyes2:

Dont get your hopes up for any thank - worthy posts, however. Pretty sickening, the knee-jerk reactions, doom and gloom, mass panic, blame association games, etc. It starts with the fans and I'm 100% positive the Dolphins have one of the worst fanbases in the league. The team hasn't been good, but the fans are a laughing stock, for shizzle.

We play awful during the season but make up for it by being terrible during the draft and really sucking at free agency. No player in his right mind wants to come to Miami. How long do we hang on to the patheyic Ireland,until we go winless?

Wow, it's astonishing how some folks still think that will/can happen -- that PM will choose, in the swan song of his career, to come to a rebuilding offense, with a rookie head coach he has no familiarity with, who runs strictly a west coast system, an O-line that as it stands now can't protect him, where his best WR is ... davon Bess-brian hartline-a 3rd round project?, in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL where playoffs are far from a certainty even with a good team (ever think why denver is so appealing?). Really people? You really need to ESPN to tell you that?
Come on folks. move on. There's no reason to doubt Philbin-sherman can't do a good job with Flynn. Maybe they get lucky on a rook WR or move up for Blackmon. I dunno. It's all a crapshoot. I would have loved manning but I honestly don't think we'd be able to build a SB team in time for him while he could still play at a high level (assuming, let's not forget, whether he still can right now). That's just an opinion, but if you buy that, then it really is better to just start from scratch now than do it all over again in 3 years

Manning is going to Tennessee is my guess. Thats why the doctors are checking him out right now. Hassleback will most likely be cut. In like Flynn or in like Hassleback.
