Dolphins expect Culpepper to be ready for camps <Yahoo Sports>

The Dolphins must also decide what to do with Daunte Culpepper, who would be in jeopardy of being released if Green joins the team. The Dolphins have also expressed some interest in signing former Houston quarterback David Carr and have discussed trading up for one of the top quarterbacks in the draft, either Brady Quinn or JaMarcus Russell.
Friends of Culpepper have expressed concern for his future in Miami after being traded there a year ago. Members of the Dolphins organization have indicated they have doubts about Culpepper’s ability to recover from a knee injury and subsequent surgeries. Culpepper was limited to four games last season before undergoing more surgery this year.
Culpepper has also rubbed coaches the wrong way at times with a stubborn approach to changing his game. The Dolphins have encouraged Culpepper to work on getting rid of the ball more quickly, but he has been reticent to do so.

Was just going to post this. Its a good read indeed. Doesnt give much insight though as to whats going on, Cam seems he wants to stay rather quiet about whats going on here as to whether we bring in Green, or Carr (which im all for doing now (not as the starter just yet) that we dont have to give up anything for him since he's been cut). I like the fact thats its a competition for the QB spot... but as of now its between culpepper, and lemon... and thats not to promising. I like the thought of culpepper being healthy and able to play like he has in the past... but each day that passes i get more and more nervous about the fact we dont have a "solid" qb on this roster yet.

Oh, hadnt seen this yet. Thanks for posting. This makes me even more leery about culpepper being here. Makes me lean even more to the side of maybe we should just cut out losses and move on, as much as i hate to say it... but it may be the best move in order to move forward... I wish this could all get resolved sooner rather than later.

An example of poor/misleading writing...Title claims Dolphins expect Culpepper will be ready for camps, but then the first line only says he is "ready" for another day of rehabilitation, and the second line says the Dolphins expect him to be there (at the minicamp). No where in the article does it establish the Dolphins expect him to be "ready" in the sense of being "recovered" which is what I thought the title was indicating. Very misleading IMO.

Wow I am shocked another article where you get nothign but misleading info and general speculation.

I agree with your Opinion completely.

That article by Jason Cole doesn't state it but the one from the Miami Herald does.

For now, this is known: Culpepper will get an early shot. Cameron said he expects Culpepper, hampered by injuries, to be healthy enough for the team's quarterback camp the first week of April.

Yahoo also has an article stating this.
