Dolphins eye Harvey, Groves, Henne & Flacco.

The news that the Miami Dolphins are looking to get a mid- or late-first-round draft pick in a trade for defensive end Jason Taylor raises the obvious question: Who would the Dolphins draft with that pick?
According to Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel, the Dolphins are targeting four players: Florida defensive end Derrick Harvey, Auburn defensive end Quentin Groves, Michigan quarterback Chad Henne and Delaware quarterback Joe Flacco.
If the Dolphins were to trade Taylor for a first-round pick, they would likely use that pick on either Harvey or Groves, who would be penciled in to take Taylor’s place in the starting lineup.
Then, with their second-round pick, No. 32 overall, the Dolphins would presumably turn their attention to Henne or Flacco.

hopefully thats false. if we could get a mid to late first rounder i would hope to target someone different, then a OLB at 32.
 
Getting a #1 for JT would be huge but unlikely. If it happens then I like the way you put it, but I have Flacco ahead of Henne
 
Harvey probably doesn't get past Carolina at 13 and even if he does, Detroit (15); Kansas City (17); Philly (19) and Washington (21) would all scoop him up.

The other three could be there at 32 and at least two of them likely will. I don't see how we get an additional first-pound pick anyhow because nobody will give us one for JT.

The only way it happens is to offer up JT and our own third round pick and I don't think this team can afford to give up draft picks.
 
We wont be getting a 1st rounder for JT. sorry people but its not gonna happen. I could see an early 2nd which would be great. PIck up Brandon Flowers or Dan Conner

We probably wouldn't get a 1st for JT unless we flipped picks in the second or third with whomever. It wouldn't kill the deal for me.
 
If it`s a 1st, however unlikely, it will be probably be a late 1st, for JT wil not like to be traded to a non contending team...
 
I hope we can take Harvey woth a 2nd first rd pick and CB or WR at 32.

Agreed, just 3 months ago both of them were 3rd rounders. Now some are talking about them at 32 or sooner?

Only QB I take at 32 or before is Brohm

glad someone else isnt just believing the QB hype that happens every year. every year some QBs slip into the first day through default and being overrated for many reasons. like Arm Strength, numbers, etc.
