But you know how Dan Henning likes his receivers? No female dogs. Even coach Tony Sparano is concerned about messing up the good chemistry in the receivers room. That means the Trifecta will be doing their homework on players like Maryland's Darrius Heyward-Bey, Rutgers' Kenny Britt, Florida's Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy (UF receivers have flopped in the NFL), North Carolina's Brandon Tate and Hakeem Nicks, and Ohio State's Brian Robiskie, Rice's Jarett Dillard and USC's Patrick Turner to find out if they are a "diva receiva."
I'm told this draft is super, super deep at that position, so there's no need to address the wide out spot in the first two rounds unless they REALLY like someone. I'm told they do, but I'd only be guessing Heward-Bey, Nicks and Robiskie)

Interesting dolphins looking to draft reciever. I love it especially the names being considered. Harvin could defitnetly add a Wild cat Factor. Heward-Bey would be my number one target, but no way he makes it to 25. About time we draft a WR

I think a smart pick, both financially and strategically, would be Brandon Tate of North Carolina. He might be had in round 3 or later, depending on how well he has healed from a torn ACL in the first part of the college season.

Before the injury, he was lighting it up on the field. He was racking up yards and TD's. He is very fast and can stretch the field. His size is respectable, I think he around 6'1" and 195lbs. He would be a great returner on kicks as well.

Most are wanting Nicks from UNC and I would jump for joy if we got him, but more realitiscally Tate will be a better option in later rounds. He would be a great fit for Miami.

I keep hearing how Tate was lighting it up before he got hurt but in checking his 2008 stats he only had 16 receptions in 6 games with 3 TDs and I believe almost 400 yards.

The yards and TDs are impressive but he was averaging less than 3 catches a game on the college level. In addition, he never had more than 25 receptions in his entire college career. Not a good sign.

I prefer to draft players who have excelled at least 2 years at the collegiate level.

Ted Ginn and Derek Hagan ring a bell for you..., Bess wasn't drafted but he performs like a drafted pick..., WRs are like poppies in the field..., this offense is going to spread the ball around we don't need a guy who has to get his 2000 yds and 100 catches
