Dolphins 'Falling in Love' with WR Prospect Dorial Green-Beckham to Replace Mike Wall

Well one this is clear, we are targeting WR early in this draft and that makes me very excited

I love the potential but big red flags which in the first round I'd rather stay away from

On the contrary... I believe all of this receiver talk might mean we're actually trying to entice someone to trade up with us OR possibly hoping a defensive player they like falls to us (Waynes?).

I don't think so. This team clearly needs a top of the line receiver. Stills and Landry aren't enough. They need someone with size.

i dont buy any in love with anyone kicked off a college team...

We're not involved in the interview process. He's the second best WR in this draft based on talent. If the guys who have had the opportunity to actually talk to the kid, have access to the most information are willing to trust him enough to use a 1st round pick on him it's absolutely the best pick that can be made based on talent at 14.

Now I'm not putting much stock into this report...but I'd be ecstatic. Even if it doesn't workout at least I'm confident they can take a chance on talent.

I almost feel bad for DGB and the fanbase of whatever team gets him because they going to feel like they got Randy Moss if he can stay clean off the field when that is just not at all what he is. DGB is much bigger than Moss -- Plaxico Burress sized -- but he has the frame of AJ Green. Unfortunately, he doesn't move like Green (and not at all like Moss). He moves more like Burress. But without the bulk and physicality. He's not even Vincent Jackson, imo.

Ironically, I put his ceiling at Vincent Jackson . . . . and I thought that was overly generous . . . . and like Vincent, would take 3 years or so to develop properly.

When was the last time we developed a top tier WR? Chris Chambers? Brian Hartline carved out a decent career . . . but we just don't do well with these type of wide receivers and this is Without factoring in the baggage . . . this is just on the field.

Too raw to think about at 14 . . . . many of the people vouching for him now will want him cut after the preseason when they realize how far away he is from having an impact on the Dolphins.

Considered a problem child at Missouri. Suspended twice by Missouri and arrested twice for marijuana-related incidents. Kicked off team at Missouri in April 2014 after details of his alleged role in an alleged burglary were released by Columbia, Mo., police. He allegedly shoved a female student down some stairs during the alleged incident, but no charges were filed. Missed entire 2014 season.

Very intrigued DGB. However, I agree this is smokescreen.

Yeah i mean i dont care what the reasons are or what he tries to tell miami i dont see a shot in hell of this...this team just traded one problem wr on the field not even off the field no way in hell they invite another with that background short of a udfa invite

SOme good points here, bigger point is it doesn't make sense to draft a project who has character concerns, when this entire coaching and front office staff(except tannenbaum) could be gone next hear.
