This is one of the first threads i have started here, though a long time looker and poster...
I wanted to state that no matter what our record is this year i will be standing behind this team 100%...
So far we have not looked like what we all hoped/expected coming into this season. I believe this is for a number of reasons. First, our team lacks passion on the field in my opinion; especially on offense. Secondly, Daunte looks scared to mess up and then tries to force plays that aren't there. Third, the offensive line has not been doing a very good job in either run or pass blocking. Forth, the defensive line has allowed to many rushing yards so far allowing a team to keep the clock moving. Add in horrible play calling on the offensive side and that is why we are 0-2.
Now with all this I hope that we stay with our current lineup barring injury, so that our team can build chemistry. After 2 games callling for Daunte to be replaced is rediculous, look at the same Joey Harrington that ppl are calling for to come in, he had seasons to prove himself in Detroit. The Dolphins have alot of fairweather fans. I for one still believe that we are one the right track for success, but somethings need to happen to get us going in the right direction THIS SEASON.. We have to run the ball consitantly to take some of te pressure of Daunte, we also need to give Daunte time to regain his confiedence, and give more time for the offensive line to gel.
Now it kills me every week that we loe a game... but I love the Dolphins and will stand beside them no mater what heppens!
