he was drafted, and drafted HIGH. cant change that now. there is a MAJOR investment in him both draft pic and money.
there was an offer from the eagles, but, i think the dolphins needed to see what they actually had this year and to see if they could get something in return for that investment. and i can give them that. however......., knowing the eagles wanted to put him at olb [as so many here do] what would happen if coyle does that and he fails at that position also?
NO TRADE, NOT TO ANYONE!! if the finz move him to lb and he busts, after already busting at DE, [along with his drug failure and suspension he gave the finz for investing in him] it would make him absolutely WORTHLESS. the finz wouldnt be able to give him away.
i would guess right now they are hoping the eagles or another team comes back with an offer. they will GLADLY take it now that they know he cant play DE and may just be a constant head case failing more drug tests, etc... .
but putting him at olb now and looking like a failure there, DISASTER!! one that eats money for years to come.

I didn't like the Jordan pick when we made it and I like it even less now. That was a number 3 overall pick damn it. I'm just gonna stop now before I get fired up
Maybe we can schedule a Tebow prayer session, a pronouncement from Governor Scott and a press statement from former Governor, Charlie Crist on this vexing issue, while he's suspended. Or maybe we just leave it to our coaches to make the team decisions and let them use their best judgement.
