Dude we ate Palmer up. And Palmer is a better QB than Ben. The D gave up 9 points, I cant tolerate anyone talkin **** about our defense.

Of course the line can change during the week, but we have opened as 1 and a 1/2 favorites over the Steelers. But you have to remember that the home team automaticlly gets 3 points.

From what I understand from my betting through the years, being a home team is automatically worth 3 points in the spread, so being favored by 1.5 points is more like Pittsburgh being favored by 1.5 points.

we most likely wont be by saturday night it will probably be a pick 'em game with no spread. Its not a slap in the face to Pitts when they are starting a rookie QB and we still have an above-average D.. You have to know how betting works to understand what a line means and why whos favored by how much and when. If you did understand it you wouldnt say it is a slap in the face.

The fact that you "can't take" anyone criticizing the D, doesn't hide the fact that the D was on the field when the very bad Bengals Offense won the game in 1 minute.
 
Here we go again underestimating our opponent. The Steelers are a pretty good team, and believe me, they will be ready to play Sunday. Their "D" will come after us, trust me. Cowher will have that team pumped up. At this point we need to all face reality in that there are no easy wins for us a this time.

They should have stopped them on the 1st third down in the final drive where MIA took the time out. I cant stand it how our DEfense plays lights out for 3.75 quarters then when we need the biggest stop of the game we make the QB look like Marino. Pisses me off.. ill tell ya

Well, tolerate this: when it mattered, our D folded like the paper tigers they are. How the hell come we play like savages on D all game until the end? Because that's what our defense does. If you haven't seen the trend by now, after 5 years with this core, you need a new set of glasses. Preferably ones not tinted in aqua and orange.

these clowns have been practicing toghether for months and they still cant block. I fail to see how one week will make much of a difference

Dick Lebeau and that D will be licking their chops when they watch the film of last night's game. Blitz, blitz, blitz some more. And then blitz some more. And then some more.
 
So home team gets 3pts automatically yet we are only favored by 1.5 pts? lol, well, at least we are favored. This is going to be a long season.
 
man you guys are all crazy for blaming this loss on the D

saying the softened up is bull****. Put our defense on ANY other team with ANY other offense and 9 points ALLOWED WINS THE GAME!

OF COURSE the defense will be on the field when the game is lost. you think OUR OFFENSE will be on the field when the game is lost??? usually when the game is lost, at the end of a game or in overtime its the OTHER team scoring..... and they dont score against our offense....unless its an INT returned for a TD (another one) thats not possible so that rebuttle was just stupid.

How the hell can you watch that whole game, how HORRIBLE our offense was, and then get mad at the D for allowing a 40 yard field goal at the end of the game. They didnt allow them inside the freakin 20 yardline all game! Our DEFENSE was the ONLY reason this game wasnt a BLOWOUT!
 
Dolphins should be favored, believe it or not the Bengals are a better team.
You shut down Duce Staley, and Ben Roethlisberger is going to have a tough game.

You should win
 
1.5 sounds about right... I'll predict fins win 13.5-12!!!
