Reports are that he had been battling skin cancer for the last 4 years that turned into lymphoma. He was admitted to hospice last Monday. Paul McCartney showed up to sing to him. Feels like part of my youth died with him.

According to TMZ, Buffett died from skin cancer that eventually metastasized into lymphoma. Buffett was reportedly first diagnosed with skin cancer four years ago.
Skin cancer is no joke, people. Please see your dermatologists once a year, your life may depend on it.
Anyhow, I've been to Cabbage Key quite a few times when we used to vacation in Captiva. Always a great time as my Pops loved going there.

Lymphoma and Merkel cell skin cancer. He was diagnosed 4 years ago. After I found out he died and told my family, I read more about his passing and what he died of. He lived a pretty long life, he was 76 when he went.

I got to see him three times including once at the marine stadium while on a boat. Great times

Great place to see a concert in S. Fla. I saw many concerts there including JB. Nothing better than to be lounging on your boat, sipping a Margarita and listening to JB. You will be missed. Rest In Peace.
