Dolphins fire Kevin O'Neill

O'Neill was one of the ones to not fully cooperate with the Wells investigation so I can't say I'm surprised.

Ironically, O'Neill won a national award for athletic training in June. Ethics was a part of it.

With the trainers and assistant trainers being the eyes and ears of the locker room for the head coach and assistant coaches...

I think he's been with the team since the Shula era. He deserved to be fired, though.

Because of Jonathan Martin, O'Neill gets fired because he refused to snitch on players for merely a couple a of crude and racy jokes. What a joke.

The organization told him to cooperate, he didn't. That gets you fired just about anywhere.

If they were going to fire Turner, don't you think they would have done it before firing the trainer?? I think this means Turner is safe

philbin is a guy who nearly resigned instead of firing sherman, that alone should speak volumes about the guy. he may be loyal but hes loyal to a fault, i wouldnt expect anything to happen to turner.

If only he had resigned we may actually have a bright future today with Cesario in charge... And less embarrassment in the meantime. Oh well.

Didn't Cesario say he liked Philbin as the Head Coach?

If you're wondering why Turner still has a job, I hear #Dolphins are waiting on NFL suspend Turner...
