I got to thinking about players from Miami who should be in the Hall of Fame. I believe both Jake Scott and Dick Anderson should be there, along with Mark Duper, Mark Clayton and Richmond Webb. If you watch the Dolphins from the early 70's their safety play was amazing. Scott and Anderson were difference makers in the secondary. Webb was a seven time pro bowl selection and the best LT in the AFC for a number of years. He was a big factor behind Dan Marino's success. Duper and Clayton don't seem to be getting the recognition they deserve for some reason, but those guys were so hard to cover and had defenses scrambling.

From the current team, Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor have a shot as does Daunte Culpepper. Time will tell for those three. Junior Seau is automatic, but for his play in San Diego not Miami.

Dont forget Stephenson, he was fantastic.

As of late you are correct that Zach and JT will be considered.

Where have you been? Stevenson's been in the HOF for years now.

Ozzy rules!!

u can serch my post archives, i started a post arguing for the inclusion of the marks based upon the comparision of career numbers between clayton duper, and swann and stallworth, different offensive philosophies aside, our boys numbers put there to shame and they are in the hall...

sorry guys, while i do believe duper and clayton should be in the hall, they should in no way get in before art monk, sorry but his numbers are WAY better than either of the marks brothers. also keutch should definately get in.

how can you not list Bob Kuechenberg who has made it to the final cut twice now.... and Jake Scott hates the Dolphins.

Zach I belive will get in to the HOF if he plays a couple more years doin what he's been doin..

Definetly Keutchenbeurg, then I'd like to see Jake Scott. I'd like the fins to try and mend the fence with Jake I don't blame him for the way things turned out.

I don't get why there isn't more respect for these two. I assumed they'd both make it easily when they retired, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Monk does deserve to be there for sure, but so do Duper and Clayton IMO.
