Anyone know how to find out how many miami games are going to be shown in gainesville? They didnt show too many last year because of the jags. Im sure it'll be the same way this year but i want to make sure. I dont want to get direct tv and the sunday ticket if they're going to show most of the games on tv. Thanks

just get the sunday ticket...its totally worth it...besides the dolphins games, you get every other game so its worth it...if you break down what it costs per 17 weeks of the season its only like $13.50 a week...its well worth it...plus how much is it gonna cost every week at a sports bar...more than $13.50 a week...i recommend it...

NFL Sunday Ticket... get all the games. The Jags are the reason I had to get it because they claim Orlando as home (?) territory!!!!! I hate the Jags for that reason!!!!!
Unfortunately (as you know) the home team for Gainesville is Jax (lame), next in line is the Bucs (sux) and the third viewing option is the Dolphins. Obviously Jax is the only competition for the AFC (NBC) slot granted the Bucs (usually on Fox) dont play an AFC team. I end up catching most of the Fin games at Gators Dockside, Calico Jacks, or the Swamp. The only guarantees are the 3 national televised games this year (opener @ Pit, Thanksgiving @ Det, & Christmas vs NYJ). Heres a qwik breakdown of the Florida teams schedule and what Dolphin games should or could be on TV in G-ville

I live in gainesville and didnt have directtv, it hurts, i think we are gonna get it next but im not sure. Theres alot of bars to go and watch the games and gainesville has a load of dolphin fans, i watched the games at JP gators last year, its a smallish place but has decent tv's and a good nucleus of diehard fin fans, but also check out gators dockside, real nice big place has alot of fins fans too, i didnt make it out there much cuz its farther and I became friends with the guys at JP gators, still nothing beats watching it at home.

Just wanted to let you guys know, none of the Jaguars games will be blacked out this year. They have sold all of there (cheap) seats for season tickets. They also have a waiting list for them, I also suggest getting the Sunday Ticket if possible!!

You won't get many of the games locally, that's why I ended up getting suday ticket. Another place you can try is Calico Jacks. They have tv's all to wall in that place. Not to mention I noticed a dolphins decal at somewhere in there. I can't guarantee anything, but it's worth a shot, maybe you can get them to be kind and give you 1 tv with a dolphins game.

Gator Dockside and Joe's Deli have a good phinfan base. I, however, am getting NFL ticket. You gotta do it, its sooooo worth it! Now I will be able to sit in the comfort of my own home, eat my own food, and sip on my own kegerator!!!

Used to live in gainesville and it pissed me off they would just show jags games, when most people I knew were either dolphins or bucs fans...luckily for bucs fans, they are the lone florida team in the NFC. My advice to you...get Direct TV lolsamikit13 said:
