Dolphins games on TV next year (please advise!!)

Hello to evreyone. I moved to Texas from fort lauderdale last year and i havnt watched a single game of the dolphins last year. My father bought Dish so i couldnt purchase the sunday ticket. I am going to Texas A and M next year and I will most likely have cable in my room so I wont get the chance to order it next year either. I was wondering if anybody knew of any alternate ways to watch the dolphins? I had to listen to the games on gamecast or whatever on nfl.com but that just didnt cut it. I am dying to know, any help would be greatly appreciated. muy gracias.
 
there should be a couple of bars outside or around campus...just ask around when you go to school...its actually pretty awesome...waking up at 10 minutes before the game having a hangover from some frat partyand walking to a bar on campus thats a minute away and sitting down to watch the phins play...i love fall semester lol...
 
I went through the same thing and I have 2 options.

1. Find a sports bar that has sunday ticket. There has to be one around campus. With the rising popularity of Fantasy Football there are more and more of these sports bars forming that have sunday ticket.

2. There is a new device called a sling box. Long story short, if you can get sunday ticket on a tv back at your house where you used to live you can send it to your computer. Its hard to explain but it is only a one time fee for the box and seems pretty interesting.

lol ahhh cant wait to go to college. i already thought of going to a sports bar, but im only 17.... im not sure if they would allow me, chances are they wont so ill have to find someone who does id's. Ill also look into that slingbox idea, hopefully it wont be too expensive. thanks a lot guys i really appreicate it.

Shouldn't be any sports bar that would not let you in to watch the games on Sunday. Search Google for miami fan clubs in your area. Everybody is jumping on our bandwagon so it should be easy to find one.
 
You'll have no problem getting into a sports bar at noon on sunday.
 
I live in texas deep texas south and I saw about 5 games last year

tired google but nothing came up. Yeah the dolphins do seem to be getting more problem so i dont think i should have any trouble finding fans that go to my school. If not ill start my own fins club. and it would be the greatest thing to happen to tamu.

thats great. i dindt know if it was going to be a problem because ive never been to a sports bar before. Thanks for telling me though. Im so looking foward to next fall. :D

man thats crazy i live a bit north of austin and i got ZERO games. the most action i got to see was like the fourth quarter against the seahawks because the texans game finished early or something.
 
I live in Cali and I only get to see games if there primetime or on CBS like the Broncos and Dolphins, radio coverage is bad because Raiders get two stations, and sometimes whatever game is on CBS is on the radio, SUCKS!
 
trust me, i understand your fustration. the nfl should have some online service where you could watch the games for a small fee. If they did i would be a much happier person. but i think my problem for next year is solved. (YES!) i hope you find your remedy icephinfan.
 
bars will allow you in to watch the games regardless of age....bars in the daytime are ALOT different than bars at night...you may even think your in a different place when you walk in... bars usually have a type of buffet special for fans to watch the games..but ive always pondered about how different bars are night and day...pretty crazy..anyone else understand me? any soon to be colllege kid will love waking up and going directly to a bar to hang out and just watch football...I dont recommend staying all day it may reck your study habits but defnitely stay for the phins games...and monday night games are awesome as well...cheap beer, hot girls and your friends just having a great time...UNBEATABLE...I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL...P.M me when you watch your first game on a sunday at school and tell me how awesome it was
