there's no getting screwed. look at all the guys we signed and the few we lost

it was predictable, and if you don't want to be disappointed i'm telling you this right now, we might gain a 7th rounder at most next year and we might get nothing if we sign others just by looking at the way we handled free agency

We already have 9 picks, and will probably end up with a few more if we continue to make some moves like planned. I'm not worried.

The Dolphins didn't get screwed. We all knew we werent getting any compensatory picks. We signed more free agents then we lost and cutting a player dosen't count as losing a player.

And I agree with JT the Dolphins will be lucky to get even a 7th round pick next year.

that goes to show u the nfl wants the pats back on top. what a corupt sport but then again which one isn't

The only 2 unrestricted free agents we signed this year were Joe Berger 3 year/ $2.75 mil and Eric Green 2 year/ $6 mil. Both were modest contracts. Jake Grove was a restricted free agent. We didnt have to give compensation, but Oakland had the right to match the deal.
Renaldo Hill signed a 4 year/$10 mil deal and Andre Goodman signed a 5 year/ $25 mil deal.
We probly will end up with a 7th round pick next year that could be as high as a 6th round pick because total value of the signed contract is in the equation.

Why would we get any picks? The only decent players I can think of that we let go last year were Hadnot and Lemon. Meanwhile, we signed Pennington, Smiley, Ndukwe, and Polite.

This years free agency counts towards next years compensatory picks. And Grove was a free agent not a restricted free agent. He had a clause in his contract that made him a free agent.

My thoughts on this is we gained much more talent then we lost.
