After losing Lamar Miller, the Miami Dolphins' current running back depth chart consists of Jay Ajayi,Damien Williams, Jahwan Edwards, Daniel Thomas and Isaiah Pead. According to GM Chris Grier, he's content if that's the group that enters the 2016 season.
"I think we're comfortable," he said Friday, via the Miami Herald.

"I think (with) Coach (Adam) Gase's history of what he has done with running backs, these guys all fit what he's looking for in terms of their skill sets. But again, we'll take any opportunity we can to add at any position if it's a good football player."

Hold onto your heads, kids, that is hella spin coming out of Miami.

Really, Mr. Grier? Really? You are comfortable with your running backs? That's why you signed C.J. Anderson to a big offer sheet and chased after Chris Johnson, only to be rebuffed on both accounts?

Actions speak louder than words.

What would people like them to say in a pre-draft presser?

"We have a huge need at RB and if we can we will try to trade up to get Zeke Elliot." Or "that Dixon kid is alright from La Tech...watch for us to snag him Friday!"

Looks like we're gonna find out exactly what we have in Ajayi this season.

Bull****. Then why did we bring in so many RB's and try to land CJ? There are other pressing needs on this team, but if we could improve the RB's on this team, I think we need to do so if it falls in with other pressing needs.

Here is the thing...if Ajayi was drafted in RD2 last year, we would still see a need, but not be as nervous as to who the other back is. Everyone thought Ajayi was a RD2 back and was had in the 5th.

A solid RB is needed and if you have a chance at someone special like Elliot, draft him. However, there are many RB's in this draft to help the team. Not worried.

also claims to be fine with the O line and corner group - funny guy

then again Grier has spent 10 years helping to build awful rosters in Miami, so he may well really be happy with our crappy roster :idk:

yep he is part of the trash front office people we have yet to get rid of over the years, doubt anything will change.

Well, he did say this.....

But again, we'll take any opportunity we can to add at any position if it's a good football player.

What he's most comfortable with is spouting nonstop bull****.
