IN Barry Jacksons Herald article it stated that they retained Cefalo because they recieved positive feedback fron Dolphin fans on his performance. I have heard him and thought he was awful and almost everyone on here mostly stated the same. Just wondering who the Dolphins got this "feedback" from?

What Dolphins fans were they talking about? Wow, he's just an awful play by play guy, I can't even say anything positive. Every aspect of calling the game he did poorly.

I think he does well and we're just spoiled from Mandich. Sure he isn't someone who puts you on the edge of your seat and makes you feel like your in a seat at the stadium but he does his job and does it well.

He's lying. :fire: There is no other explanation. If he really took into account what the fans think, there is no way Cefalo would be retained. Please vote everyone and then someone send this thread to Dolphin management. I'm sick of these corporate liar's. :fire:

They never got any feedback. They just didn't want to fire him for some reason. You know the feedback comment is a product of the Joe Bailey propaganda machine.

They don't have the Dolphins on the radio up here anymore since Jags came to town so Im in a sports bar every Sunday, so I haven't heard a broadcast with him, but I remember him back in the NBC days and didn't think he was that bad. I will say this after viewing this site for quite a while now, apparently there isn't anyone in the Media, whether its analysists or ex players that anyone on this site likes, 99% of people posting on here seem to bash everyone.

I will say that Jimmy Cefalo is one of the nicest guys that I have ever met.

I met Cefalo at Marinos Hall of Fame induction..and I agree..nice polite gentleman. I just don't get him as a play by play guy. I really did like him when he played for us.

Silly Poll,

Of course Cefelo is positive. Thats one of the problems that prevents him from being a decent representative for the Fins org.

The point is, he is so positive and so careful not to upset the cart that he is just out right boring and at times frustrating to listen to.

As a play by play guy is highly inadequate and misses alot. He brings little personal insight and basically reads the internet for his spiel.

The Poll should be:

Do You Think Cefelo should be the play by play man and Voice of the Miami Dolphins ?

YES......or

NO....

Jimmy seems like a wonderful person, and is perfect for being that cordial and friendly Greeter at his Winery in the Grove. But just lacks the insight and grit to be the Voice for the Dolphins.

He is the BryanfromOhio of broadcasters. JMO

cefalo is a tool. after saban ditched us, cefalo wrote him a letter thanking him for his 2 years here.....thats rediculous

What do you guys define as positive. You guys must have a problem with anything but when it comes to our crappy players that we have in our team and how much we suck all the time then you make all the excuses in the world.

I like Jimmy Cefalo, he aint the best play by play guy but he has a better radio voice than Mad Dog. Mad dogs ny accent gets tiring all the time.
