Dolphins got cute in this draft. After they got the three guys they wanted on Day 1, they decided they knew more than everyone else and started after these small school kids. Not to knock these players as i'm sure they are good kids, but i honestly feel like the brain trusts of NFL franchises try too hard to find diamonds in the rough.

I also wonder what happens with guys that slip, like Duke Robinson in this case, is it because we didnt work him out at some point that we were wary of picking him? do teams tend to favor those people they have seen work out even if someone with a higher grade slips?

We got too cute when we waited on Ramses Barden. Who would've thought the Eagles would let a division rival move up to snag a WR. I don't understand some of these teams.

Yea good point OP. Who are these guys who took a team that went 1-15 to a division title in their first year in control to pretend like they might know more than everyone else? Crazy *******s those are running our team.

I like the Turner pick. Not sure on Hartline, but Nalbone could be good, and I am hoping Folsom makes a good Zach Thomas impression... Not too cute, but Parcells stayed home to the Jersey shore for Nalbone

USC, Ohio State, Georgia Tech and Clemson are small schools? We took two guys from "small schools", and one was in the 7th round.

If they are good players. Why does it matter if there from "small schools" ?

Is it too late to give Langford back? (Too bad he wasn't drafted from Costco :boohoo: )

Sometimes people don't think it all the way through before posting.

I believe your referring to the Monmouth tight end. Since we are deep at this position he doesn't have to play right away. A project or "cute" pick was affordable here and I will trust Ireland and Parcells over my own judgment any day.
