Joey Harrington finally has a staff, an environment, and a team around him that is believing in their previous success. Im loving this actually. Here's a guy that even before he got with the team was believing in what's going down here...and wants to be a part of it. In both a starting or a backup capacity. If he plays great for us the first half of the season (I dont think Daunte will be ready at the start of the season), all the BS about Harrington will go out the window from his first four years. And Millen and his coaching staff will look like the idiots...again.
Saban's got the coaching staff, and the right people at the critical positions to turn Harrington into a success.
Harrington showing up already and beginning to learn the nuances of this offense is a good start to getting the players around him to believe in him, and to trust him. After these camps itll be up to Harrington to get together with his WRs and his RBs to work on timing.
This was a good move. We have starting QB potential at both the starting and the backup spot. I love it.
