Dolphins have meeting set (Update: No meeting set or even planned)

lets hope arizona completly blows it.i have never wanted a player as bad as manning.even while im typing this seems unreal he is even available.

Why are people just jumping on everything the Media says? Then getting mad saying Miami's FO is not doing enough.

This is the Manning show. Look the Manning camp knows what they are looking for and will go when and where he wants. They won't fall for a come now or you may miss out type thing. Remember that Eli/Archie pretty much dictated terms on teams drafting him. Now Peyton is a UFA and can do whatever he wants. People saying WTF way is Miami not
going after he hardcore? Well the answer is probably very simple they talked to him and he laid out what he was doing. Peyton has had a plan he narrowed it down to the teams he wanted to go visit and those teams know this and believe what Peyton told them.

I think there is a reason why despite all the media/fans trying to sell they ideas that it close/not close or whatever, you have not seen Mia or Zona really do anything. Cause they have talked to Peyton and know what his plan is. Which is probably pretty much what he has said from the beginning, narrow his list down (Mia, Den, Zona) then visit those teams and then make an informed decision.

funny how everyone's "on the money' when they're saying the "right" things...yet can't have a low enough count of brain cells when they're wrong.

Shefter says Miami is picking up some steam back they lost yesterday.
God these guys are funny huh....dolphins losing steam ohh wait now they gaining it, ohh and also lets mention that there is a mystery team out there where he might go to. They know nothing.

Peyton Manning - QB - Colts

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Peyton Manning has no free agent visits scheduled beyond Saturday night's flight to Arizona.

The Chiefs may hope Manning stops by their facility on his way back east, but for now there are no plans for that. He's meeting with the Cardinals and then it's back to Miami, likely for a pitstop at Manning's vacation spot before or after a visit with Dolphins brass. Multiple reports Saturday did indicate Manning's Broncos meeting was "productive," but in our experience with free agent tours, it's always a bad sign when a player leaves a town unsigned.

I think it goes like this:
He has dinner with Whisenhunt right now. Talk shop. Meet tommorrow morning and walk the facilities, same as denver. Looks for a plan, doesnt really find much of one other than PM does nothing but cover up their boo boo in Kolb. He takes a flight home after dinner tommorrow and gets home late to East coast. He sleeps and meets Dolphins for the entire Monday. Hears the plan with some things that he will need to accept as well like drafting a future QB as well to groom (he will like hearing that because it shows Miami is eyeing the prize). He gets the big picture from Miami, he goes home to his wife at dinner and they discuss with agent popping in and then he sleeps on it. Decision day Tuesday. Signs with Miami Wednesday once details worked out and then Reggie Wayne comes on over to sign a friendlier deal than what he might look for elsewhere but still makes a good 4-5 mil with a bonus.

La Canfora says that Miami does not have a visit set up, and might not get one. So who knows who to believe at this point.
